Anna graduated with an honours degree in Law from the University of Glasgow in 2016, before completing her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow in 2017.

Anna trained at a large commercial firm, obtaining experience with cases in the Sheriff Court, the Court of Session, the Additional Support Needs Tribunal, and the English High Court. Prior to working at Latta & Co. Solicitors, Anna was a solicitor within the area of public sector litigation and additionally advised clients in respect of their involvement in public inquiries.

Anna manages a varied asylum and immigration caseload and regularly assists vulnerable clients, such as victims of trafficking, domestic violence, and young people. Further, Anna assists clients with housing and other human rights issues. She represents clients at the Immigration and Asylum Chamber of the First-tier Tribunal for Scotland on a regular basis. Anna additionally advises clients in relation to a wide variety of judicial review proceedings in the Court of Session. Anna works with third-sector organisations on a regular basis in order to ensure the support needs of her clients are comprehensively met.

Anna has volunteered for a number of immigration and human rights organisations, including the Citizens’ Rights Project. She is also a regular contributor to the Law Society of Scotland Journal. Anna is dedicated to assisting vulnerable clients navigate complex legal processes and ensuring that her clients feel supported and empowered.
