Scott graduated with a LLB in Scots law from the University of Glasgow in 2024 and received his Diploma in Professional Legal Practice in 2025. Throughout his studies he had a keen interest in Human Rights law and in particular its application to Immigration law.
Scott is passionate about supporting access to justice. During his time at University he volunteered at Citizens Advice Bureaux in Renfrewshire and Parkhead.
In 2024, he joined the team of CAB advisors at HMP Barlinnie, where he supported vulnerable clients in accessing their legal entitlements. His work included helping individuals apply for benefits, safeguard their tenancies, manage debt, and navigate a wide range of other challenges they encountered during their incarceration.
During this time Scott developed a keen interest in empowering people to address circumstances that they initially found daunting. He continues to apply what he learned in these situations to his work in Immigration and Asylum practice.
Outside of work Scott enjoys hiking, cooking and staying active.
