Laura Sclare
Laura graduated with an honours degree in Law from Glasgow University in 2010. She completed her Diploma in Legal Practice at Glasgow University in 2011.
Laura completed her traineeship at one of the largest legal aid firms in Dundee. She gained experience in immigration and asylum, criminal defence, family and mental health law. She regularly appears in the Immigration and Asylum Tribunal and Sheriff Courts all over Scotland. She also instructs counsel in Court of Session and High Court matters.
Laura has a particular interest in working on behalf of clients fighting deportation allowing her to draw on her experience in both immigration and criminal law. She is experienced in preparing and presenting appeals against deportation at the Tribunal. Laura appreciates the strain legal proceedings in all areas of law can place on her clients and their families and seeks to ensure that they have her full support at every step.
