Ruzena graduated with an honours degree in Law from the University of Glasgow in 2014, having spent a year studying at Stockholm University. She completed an LLM in Public International Law at Leiden University in 2018, before returning to complete the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice in 2019.

Ruzena has since completed her traineeship and qualified as a solicitor at Latta & Co, where she has focused her work on general immigration, asylum and human rights cases. Ruzena has developed significant experience working on cases involving domestic violence, human trafficking and unaccompanied asylum seeking minors.

Ruzena has appeared at the Immigration and Asylum Chamber for cases involving asylum and human rights appeals, and is committed to providing comprehensive legal advice and support to all of her clients.
