Laura graduated with an honours degree in Law from Glasgow University in 2010. She completed her Diploma in Legal Practice at Glasgow University in 2011.
Laura completed her traineeship at one of the largest legal aid firms in Dundee. She gained experience in immigration and asylum, criminal defence, family and mental health law. She joined Latta and Co Solicitors in 2014 and since then has focussed her work on asylum and immigration. She has a particular interest in assisting vulnerable clients, including unaccompanied asylum seeking children, navigate the asylum system.
She is experienced in preparing and presenting immigration and asylum appeals at the Tribunal. Laura appreciates the strain legal proceedings in all areas of law can place on her clients and their families and seeks to ensure that they have her full support at every step.
