If you are an EU citizen looking to work or study in the UK

The UK has introduced a points-based immigration system, comprised of different routes for immigration dependent on your situation:

• Skilled worker visa: Allows you to work in the UK in certain eligible occupations for an employer approved by the Home Office. You must have a confirmed job offer before you apply for the visa.
  
• Global talent visa: Allows you to work in the UK if you have been endorsed as a leader or potential leader in academia or research, arts and culture or digital technology.
  
• Student visa: Allows you to study in the UK if you have been offered a place on a course by a licensed student sponsor. You must have enough money to support yourself and pay for your course, and you must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
